"The awareness of life as energy currents... is the key to the natural art of health-building." --Dr. Randolph Stone

There is a source of energy that is in every system known: humans, atoms or the universe. Learn the energy system used by Polarity Therapy. It is based on the theory that energy similar to electricity that currents move thru the body via neutral, positive and negative charges. It also uses the concept of the five natural elements (ether, air, fire, water and earth) which arise from the Chakras (energy systems throughout the body). Energy needs to flow freely, otherwise blocked or restricted energy can cause dis-ease. Once balanced, the body will begin to complete the healing process.

By the end of the workshop you will learn the skills to feel subtle energy (e.g. qi, prana), recognize which element(s) is/are imbalanced; and how to restore the balance by use of specific protocols for each of the elements. Some of the dis-ease you will learn to balance are digestive disorders, low vitality, stress or nervousness.

This modality can be used for the entire session or as a complement to your massage work. Also, students will be entitled to one post-workshop phone consultation.

"Energy is the real substance behind the appearance of matter and form." --Dr. Randolph Stone

Our focus in this level-2 course will be on balancing the function of the three nervous systems and back/spinal work.

Balancing the function of three nervous systems (Cerebrospinal, parasympathetic and sympathetic) allows mental and emotional blocks to exhaust themselves giving space for the dis-ease to withdraw from the pattern so the energy can be balanced.

With the spine being the major conductor of energy flow to the organs, tissues and cells of the body, it is important to maintain a healthy flow. We will be working with several protocols to enhance this flow. The protocols we will work on include back pain and spinal balancing.

Again, this modality can be used for the entire session or as a complement to your massage work. Also, students will be entitled to one post-workshop phone consultation.

Lymph Drainage is an additional technique of bodywork. It can be used alone or in conjunction with massage.

The lymph system is important for cleansing the body of old and/or toxic cells and chemicals. The lympy channels run beside the venous blood flow, but they have no vessels. Sometimes, in the days of old, it was known as the "milky system," because after fat consumption the lymph flows white.

In class you will learn the lymph flows in the body, how to manual move the lymph, where the major lymph nodes are, their function, and the benefits of doing so.

Come join us! Bring a dog if you can.
